Anna and Mike let the lush gardens at Marianmade Farm inspire their wedding décor.

The couple, who currently reside in Boston, decided on a Maine wedding. Mike grew up there and Anna attended Bowdoin College. “We wanted something that was tasteful and relatively casual,” Anna says. They decided to forgo a traditional sit down mean and have food trucks at their wedding instead, as they are so popular back in Anna’s home state of Texas.

After Friday’s welcome dinner of lobster rolls, the outdoor ceremony at Marianmade Farm went off without a hitch. The officiant was a family friend and guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour, dancing, and a campfire.

In Her Words
We asked the bride more about the big day. Here’s what Anna said…

I wish…it hadn’t gone by so quickly.

I didn’t realize…how much coordinating it would all take.

One of my favorite moments was…the ceremony.

I’m glad that…we had wonderful weather, considering so much of our celebration was outside.

My advice to other couples is…to find some moments alone.
