, is a busy mom who always has her trusty camera by her side. Whether she's shooting a Maine wedding or one of her son's hockey games, she's prepared for anything!
What do you love about wedding photography?
From a young age, I have had a love for old photos, especially wedding photos. The details and classic romance captured on black and white film were/and are so intriguing. When photographing a wedding, I look for similar creative details of long ago, the classic romance (aka...real love), detailed craftsmanship of dresses and arrangements, guest favors, paper products, and everything else that my clients bring and share on their day. DIY brides are my favorites.
What should clients know about your style of photography?
Clients should know that that my style is fun, detailed and professional...similar to my personality!
When you're not behind the camera, what do you like to do?
If you were to peek at my charm bracelet, you would see that I'm a hockey, baseball, and soccer mom with a love for wine, cooking, friends, Maine, and, of course, my husband.
How can the couple help YOU on their wedding day?
Communication is the best tool for a successful wedding day. Keeping in close contact with my clients’ details via consultations, email, texts, and phone, and by maintaining the same line of communication with the other vendors surely makes the day go by easier.
How has your photography style changed over the years?
With continuing training, workshops, seminars, and mentoring over the last 15 years, my style of photography has grown from "an interest" into a true passion of providing professional and detailed wedding and portrait photography.
Where will your business be in the next 5 years?
Providing detailed wedding and portrait photography on the east and west coast. Marketing began early this year on this venture, as I am running the studio full time now.
