Martha and Logan, who met in high school, always knew they were meant to be together. “It wasn’t long after we started dating that we realized we share the same passions and values,” Martha says. “We find that we are always learning from each other.”
Logan decided to propose during a vacation in Portland, Maine. After a night out with friends, he gifted Martha a very special hooded sweatshirt, which read “Future Mrs. McLaughlin.” He got down on one knee and popped the question. Martha says it was one of the happiest nights of her life.
The couple decided to have their engagement shoot in Mars Hill where Logan’s family farm—West Ridge Farm—is located. “Logan had personally planted the barley in the field where we were posing,” Martha says. The couple will be holding their wedding reception on the farm this fall.
