Our third planning day in Portland started off in a spectacular way. We met with Terry from Dube Travel to pick from an amazing list of honeymoon destinations. She was so kind and accommodating and we are thankful to her for putting all of this hard work into making our honeymoon unforgettable. We were amazed at all the beautiful Club Med resorts we had to choose from. From sandy white beaches and turquoise clear water to luxurious villas, everything they had to offer took our breath away! It is so fun to look forward to where we'll be celebrating after our marriage!

Next we made our way across the Casco Bay over to Peaks Island on the car ferry. We were on our way to meet Jayson at the site of our future wedding celebration—the Inn on Peaks Island! We looked over Jayson's fabulous menu options and were left with our mouths watering! He was so kind and his food choices were perfect for us. We cannot wait to enjoy his food on our special night. He also took us on a special tour of the inn, which had beautiful guest rooms to stay at for the night of the wedding. Everything was perfect and we are so glad and thankful to have Jayson and his expertise!

We headed back over to the mainland to meet with Barbara from BHive Design. She is a creative genius who will be creating handmade purses for Emily and her wedding party. Barbara was so warm, sweet, and friendly, and helped Emily find a style and pattern that she loved for the handbags that fit so well with the theme of the wedding!

We also got to take a look at some awesome products from A&E Stoneworks. The public will get to vote on which beautiful Maine slate coasters we'll use in our stay tuned! We also got to peek at what A&E Stoneworks will be giving our wedding guests. We're so excited to have these special Maine-made things for our wedding celebration.

It was a delight to meet next with LK and Laura, co founders and creative minds behind Bowline Co. They have mastered the art of the bow tie. I immediately felt like my cool factor went up exponentially just by meeting these trendy entrepreneurs. I loved all the bow ties I tried on and am so excited to see which one I'll be rocking at the altar!

A special thank you to Kim of Kim Chapman Photography who was in charge of taking pictures the whole day. She has an incredible eye for a great shot and took us to the most beautiful places on the island. We had a lovely time meeting with all the vendors and we can't thank everyone enough, especially Christine and Melanie, for their generosity and support in putting together our dream wedding!
